Field names and descriptions
Student ID (M)
Displays the student identification number.
Ctry of birth >>
Type or double click to select the country where the student was born.
Religion >>
Type or double click to select the student's religion.
Date of arrival in Aust
Type the date the student arrived in Australia from overseas, in dd/mm/yy format.
NESB >>
Double click to select the non-English speaking background of the student.
If the codes P1 or TR are used, the Ctry of birth must not be Australia and the Date of arrival in Aust field must be completed.
% fee (M)
Defaults to 100. Alter this figure in line with school policy. It is the percentage of the fee that the student must pay. It is based on a sliding scale and is related to how many siblings are enrolled at the same school. For example, 2 students from the same family may each pay 80% of the fee.
Origin >> (M)
Type or double click to select the origin code relevant to the student.
Prev Sch >>
Type or double click to select the student's previous school number.
Date left
Tab past this field, unless using making a student left.
A date displays if the student has left the school.
Dest Sch >>
Tab past this field, unless using making a student left.
Type or double click to select the next school the student will be attending, if making a student left.
Cultural Link
Click this option if the student has a relationship with a specific cultural group.
Permanent Resident
Defaults to Permanent Resident. Click this option if the student does not have permanent residency status in Australia.
O/S Full fee
Click this option if the student is a full paying overseas student.
Continuing
Defaults to Continuing. Click this option if the student will not be continuing at your school.
After hours ethnic school
This tick box can be used to add or remove after hours ethnic school information, and it also indicates whether after hours ethnic school information exists for the student.
If unticked, no after hours ethnic school information exists. In Edit mode, if the tick box is selected the Student Ethnic School Detail screen displays when the record is saved, to prompt you to enter this information.
If already ticked, after hours ethnic school information already exists. In Edit mode, the tick box can be deselected to delete all after hours ethnic schools. You will be prompted to confirm this deletion when saving the record.
