Field names and descriptions
Incident Report ID
Displays the incident report identification number (which is generated automatically by EDSAS).
Station
If criminal activity was involved, type the name of the police station to which the incident was reported.
Date Reported
If criminal activity was involved, type the date the incident was reported to the police (in dd/mm/yy format).
Police Incident Report No.
If criminal activity was involved, type the police report number.
On/between: Date (M)
Type the date that the incident occurred or began (in dd/mm/yyyy format).
On/between: Time (M)
Type the time that the incident occurred or began (in 24 hr format).
and: Date
Type the date that the incident concluded (if required) in dd/mm/yyyy format. A time must then be entered.

Type the time that the incident concluded (if required) in 24 hr format.

Double click to select the type of security incident that occurred.
Entry Mode >> (M)
Double click to select the mode of entry of any intruders.
Damage/Loss >> (M)
Double click to select the type of damage or loss.
Entry Point >> (M)
Double click to select the point of entry of any intruders.
Area of School >> (M)
Double click to select the area of the school in which the incident occurred.
Building Type >> (M)
Double click to select the type of building involved in the incident.
Security Alarm
Click this tick box if there was a security alarm in the area where the incident occurred (if relevant).
Smoke Alarm
Click this tick box if there was a smoke alarm in the area where the incident occurred (if relevant).
Patrolled
Click this tick box if the area (in which the incident occurred) was routinely patrolled.
Hotline
Click this tick box if the school notified the DAIS hotline regarding the incident.
School Watch
Click this tick box if the school had a school watch program in place when the incident occurred.
