SYS Adding class records

This system task is used to create classes and lessons.
Path: Curriculum Module... > Subjects and Classes... > Class Details
[arrow.gif] From the Main Menu.
  1. Click Curriculum Module....
    The Curriculum Module... menu displays.
  2. Click Subjects and Classes...
    The Subject and Classes... menu displays.
  3. Click Class Details.
    The Class Details list displays.
  4. Click New.
    The School Class Details screen displays.
  5. Enter all required details and click Save.
  6. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Subject and Classes... menu and click Main to return to the Main menu , or do one or more of the following:
[arrow.gif] To add schedule records (ie. create lessons)
  1. From the List Box, double click A-Schedule Details.
    The Schedule Details list displays.
  2. Click New.
    The School Schedule Details screen displays.
  3. Enter all available details and click Save.
  4. To add additional schedule records (ie. lessons), repeat steps 2 - 3.
  5. Click Cancel.
    The Schedule Details list displays.
  6. Click Cancel.
    The School Class Details screen displays.
  7. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Subject and Classes... menu and click Main to return to the Main menu , or do one or more of the following:
[arrow.gif] To add schedule records to the schedule table
  1. From the List Box, double click B-Create schedule records.
    The Generate Schedule Records displays.
    Note:
    If existing schedule records exist for this class (in the schedule table) they will be overwritten when you run this option.
  2. Click OK.
    The schedule records are added to the schedule table (which can later be used to display and print timetables).
  3. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Subject and Classes... menu and click Main to return to the Main menu , or do one or more of the following:
[arrow.gif] To do a class headcount
  1. From the List Box, double click C-Class HeadCounts.
    The current number of males and females in the class will be calculated, with the results appearing on the screen.
  2. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Subject and Classes... menu and click Main to return to the Main menu , or do one or more of the following:
[arrow.gif] To add a link to VET modules
  1. From the List Box, double click E-VET Module Linking.
    The VET Class Module Linking screen displays.
  2. Enter all required details.
    Use the VET Class Module Linking screen details to assist if required.
  3. Click Close.
    The School Class Details screen displays.
  4. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Subject and Classes... menu and click Main to return to the Main menu , or do the following:
[arrow.gif] To add a class descriptor
  1. From the List Box, double click F-Class Descriptor.
    The School Class Descriptor screen displays.
  2. Enter all details and click Save.
  3. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Subject and Classes... menu .
  4. Click Main to return to the Main menu .
