SYS Maintaining user definable fields

This system task is used to maintain user definable fields. Fields set up through this utility are viewed through the personal detail screens. Schools can set up individual reference tables, however, Staff ID is automatically provided with the Staff UDF Personal Details table and Student ID is automatically provided with the Student UDF Personal Details table.
Path: Utilities... > UDF Maintenance

  1. Click Utilities....
    The Utilities... menu displays.
  2. Click UDF Maintenance.
    The User Definable Fields Maintenance screen displays.
  3. Click on the table to be edited.
  4. Click on the user definable field to be edited.
  5. Click Lock.
  6. Change the field name.
  7. Click Commit.
  8. Repeat steps 4-8 as required.
  9. Click Cancel.
    The Utilities... menu displays.
  10. Click Main to return to the Main menu .
