SYS Reindexing database tables

This system task is performed by the EDSAS Manager while everyone is logged out of EDSAS. Other users should not restart EDSAS until reindexing is complete.
This system task is used to reindex the databases.
Path: Utilities... > Support/Configuration... > Reindex
From the Main Menu

Click Utilities....
The Utilities... menu displays.
Click Support/Configuration....
The Support / Configuration... menu displays.
Click Reindex.
The Database selection dialog box displays.
To select the table(s) to be reindexed:

Click the table name to select one table.

To select more than one table from the list, click while pressing the Shift key (for a consecutive range of tables) or the Ctrl key (for a random selection of students).

In the Group field, click on the down arrow and select the table group, eg. Staff and click Select Group.

Click OK.
The tables are reindexed. When all selected tables have been reindexed, the Support / Configuration... menu displays.

Click Main to return to the Main menu .

Click Exit System.
EDSAS is shutdown.
