SYS Sending messages to EDSAS users
To send a message without accessing the Utilities... menu, press F8 from any menu or list. This shortcut command will not work if the cursor is in an active field.
This system task is used to send a message to all users currently logged into the EDSAS network.
Path: Utilities... > System Administration... > Send Network Message

  1. Click Utilities....
    The Utilities... menu displays.
  2. Click System Administration....
    The System Administration... menu displays.
  3. Click Send Network Message.
    The Send Message to EDSAS Users screen displays.
  4. To stop some users receiving the message, click on the user's name and click Remove.
    The user's name is removed from the distribution list.
  5. Enter the message.
  6. Click the level of importance and click OK.
    The Message has been sent message displays.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Main to return to the Main menu .
