Field names and descriptions
One or more of the following four criteria may be entered:
Student ID >>
Type or double click to select the student identification number.
Class No >>
Type or double click to select the class code.
Modules >>
Type or double click to select the module code.
Enrol. Date
Type the date the student(s) was/were enrolled in the module.
Add
Click this button once the above criteria have been specified.
Remove
Click this button to remove one or more students from the student list.
To select more than one student from the list, hold the Shift key and drag (for a range of students), or the Ctrl key and click (for non-consecutive students).
Notes:
Once the student list is refined and unwanted students removed, the student list box can be expanded in width (to view more fields/columns). This can be achieved by double clicking one student record in the list. This cannot be reversed unless the screen is closed.
If a student is linked to more than one module, each will appear as a record in the list box.
RTO ID >> (M)
Defaults to the pre-specified Registered Training Organisation. Type or double click to change this if required.
Embedded
This is ticked by default. This indicates that the module is embedded in a school class (rather than a stand alone module). Alter if required.
Course Code >> (M)
Type or double click to select the relevant course code.
Disc. Group >> (M)
Type or double click to select the discipline group.
Industry Area >> (M)
Type or double click to select the industry area.
Position >>
Type or double click to select the student's work experience position (if relevant to these studies).
Emply. Cat. >> (M)
Type or double click to select the student's employment category.
Result >> (M)
Defaults to PA (Pass Achieved). Type or double click to select a different result if required.
Result Date (M)
Defaults to the current date. This indicates the date results were entered.
On-job hours
Displays the on-the-job hours associated with any related work experience.
Comment
Type any additional comments required.
Cancel/Edit
Click to switch between Cancel and Edit mode.
Save
Click to save the record(s) just processed.
Delete
Click to delete the selected record(s).
Add Time
Click to specify the periods of time the student(s) will be away from the school participating in work experience placements relevant this module.
This will automatically create absence records for the student(s).
