From the Main Menu
-
Click Student Module....
The
Student Module... menu
displays.
-
Click Transition Utilities....
The
Transition Utilities... menu
displays.
-
Click District School Allocations.
The
District School Allocation screen
displays.
-
Enter all available details and click OK.
The Refine Students Selection screen
displays.
-
Do one of the following to refine the allocation
list:
-
Click Select All to allocate all the listed
students to the district school. If a large group of students is transferring
to a specific school use the Select All function to allocate them all,
then double click the student records that are not attending the school to
deselect them from the allocation list.

Click Unsel All to deselect all the listed
students. If a few students are attending the chosen district school use the
Unsel All function to deselect them all then double click the students
who are to be allocated.

Double click to select or deselect an individual
student record. The status of the record is indicated by the word Allocate.
-
Click OK.
The Do you wish to run the ED176 mailmerge at this time
message displays.
-
Click Yes.
The Report Selections Dialog
box displays.
-
Enter all appropriate details and click OK.
Microsoft Word is launched
The document is now ready for merging.
-
Click the Merge to New Document button
on the Word Mail Merge toolbar.
The document will be merged with the student data.
-
If required, a spell check can also be completed
by pressing F7 or by clicking the Spelling button
on the toolbar.
-
To print the document, click the Print button
on the toolbar.
The Printing message displays
and the document is sent to the printer.

Close Word without saving any changes.
The EDSAS
Transition Utilities... menu
displays.
-
To allocate other students to district schools,
repeat steps 3 to 15.

Click Main to return to the
Main menu
.
