SYS Updating staff IDs

This system task is used to generate a new Staff ID and replace all instances of the old staff ID. This is used when a member of staff undergoes a name change.
Path: Staff Module... > Personal/Employment
[arrow.gif] From the Main Menu
  1. Click Staff Module....
    The Staff Module... menu displays.
  2. Click Personal/Employment.
    The Staff Personal/Employment Details Part 1 list displays.
  3. Double click the required staff record.
    The Staff Personal/Employment Part 1 screen displays.
  4. From the List Box, double click U-Update Staff ID.
    The Update Staff ID screen displays.
  5. Enter the new staff ID and click Find.
    All tables that will be affected by this change will be displayed.
  6. Click OK.
    The Report Viewer displays. Use the Report viewer to print the report (if required).
  7. Click Cancel repeatedly to return to the Staff Module... menu .
  8. Click Main to return to the Main menu .
