SYS Processing Student Academic Results

This system task is used to process student academic results by assigning assessment grades/marks to a student's class record. This can be done in bulk so that all students in a certain class can be processed together.
Related system tasks include:
Path: Student Module... > Student Utilities... > Process Results

  1. Click Student Module...
    The Student Module... menu displays.
  2. Click Student Utilities...
    The Student Utilities... menu displays.
  3. Click Process Results.
    The Select Class screen displays.
  4. Select the criteria (Staff or Student) and enter all details.
  5. If a list of students (in that particular class) is required, do the following, otherwise got to step 6:
  6. To enter assessment grades/marks go to step 6, otherwise go to step 12.
  7. Click OK.
    The Select Class screen displays.
  8. Enter an assessment grade/mark for the student.
  9. Click Save/Next.
    The record is saved and the next record (if one exists) is selected.
    Note:
    If the Save/Next button is not selected, a warning message displays asking if you wish to save before proceeding to the next record. Click Yes or No as required.
  10. If more students require processing, repeat step 7 to 8.
  11. Click OK.
    Important:
    Do not click Cancel, otherwise student assessment records processed in this instance will not be saved.
  12. The Select Class selection screen displays.
  13. If processing is required for other academic results, repeat steps 4 to 10.
  14. Click Cancel.
    The Student Utilities... menu displays.
  15. Click Main to return to the Main menu .
